Molami headphones continue with their launch crusade around the world. They´ve now been in both New York and Paris, and it was again quite the turnout and a nice crowd. At Fivestory´s pop-up shop in New York for example, Giovanna Battaglia of Vogue was there to see and hear the magic up close, and Molami is now also available at Colette in Paris.
Here are some photos from the New York event, feat. Maria von Euler herself (the Brand Manager and Designer of Molami) showing how it´s done. Wish I could have been there too, having the great Sweden launch event right here at Nitty Gritty in fresh memory... It was so much fun and the headphones are beyond cool!

And grit girls, don´t forget to tell Santa what you want for x-mas.
And Santa will be jealous of the sound. He he.

No camera around today, so good old Photo Booth comes in handy!

Wearing vintage suede shoes, old Sharon Wauchob tartan trousers, Helmut Lang asymmetric top and cardigan / jacket by Harris Wharf.
The later is completely sold out even though we managed to re-stock twice, but we still have a few pieces left of the top thanks to re-stock also on this style. It´s one of my favourites.

Last week the best story if this year revealed when Paul Simonon explained that he was arrested earlier this year working undercover on a Greenpeace mission to stop Leiv Eriksson oil rig in Greenland. Paul was working as a chef, making Vegetarian meals for the Greenpeace crew. You can read all about it here. http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2011/nov/15/clash-paul-simonon-arrested-greenpeace
I made little best of Paul Simonon spotify list.

How to cheer up November: wallpaper by Minimoderns for my baby girl´s own room, which is currently under d-i-y construction. (This striped wallpaper pattern is called different strokes, it´s pear green and absolutely wonderful):

And then heavenly editorials like this from Self Service (autumn/winter 2011/12 issue). Love, love, love the glamourous late seventies feel of it... And the colours! Sharing is caring, so enjoy:

These beauties just arrived to the store yesterday, the Jerome Dreyfuss yummy MOMO mini handbag in burgundy python and the superb mini-TWEE in black dito. Jerome Dreyfuss sure knows how to make amazing looking bags. Wonder if he gets any advice from wifey (Isabel Marant, that is)?
Took snapshots of them both yesterday and today, and let me just say that both styles go very well with what I was wearing. Long skirt / dress by Dagmar, silk vest by Heimstone, asymmetric jumper from Helmut Lang and Church´s brogue boots, as well as with knitted holes skirt and zip tunic by 1-10 Sharon Wauchob, and boots by Jil Sander.

Nitty Gritty turns 20 years this autumn, we will celebrate this with six collaborative items specially made for Nitty Gritty. Each item comes from brands that have had a great impact on our 20 year history and is produced in limited quantities of 20 pieces per item.
Second time around is Fred Perry.
Stay tuned for more information...
To ride to work in public transportation, on the old Lidingöbanan train, is just such a terrific start of the day. Especially on a day like this, grey November morning turns golden, yay!
Watch the picture slideshow to see more pics along the way, and over the bridge. It´s so pretty.

Just saw this incredible editorial styled by Gisela Rydberg and beautifully photographed by Elisabeth Frang. Some of the pieces chosen for this raw yet sensual androgynous ed are from Nitty Gritty, so I contributed in a very small way too by lending our stuff out, he he.
Enjoy!
