This just in: Pink light district at Krukmakargatan 24, Stockholm:

And it´s looking fantastic, don´t you think? The joy of light!
I´m also around, in a checked version. As you know by now, I really love my striped silk strap slip dress by Karin Malm (worn here, here and here as well). This season, she´s added a checked black one and I just had to get that version too, they´re so versatile. Looks great on their own, or worn together, belted, under a jacket, anything!

Also wearing vintage checked soft blazer jacket, t-shirt and jeans by The Local Firm, boots by Mentor, vintage thin bangles, fine hammered ring in rose gold by Laura Lee and copper and silver ellipse ring by Cornelia Webb.

The rings are in store now, so is the silk strap slip dress by Karin Malm.

This colour thing, I´m really feeling it! So much I went all in on a pair of super bright raspberry red Isabel Marant-trousers the other day (in store now).

I thought they looked really great teamed with a braided top also by Isabel Marant (in store now too) and my beloved trenchcoat from Helmut Lang (an almost identical one in black with suede details will make a triumphant return this coming autumn, not to be missed!).
Top on it´s own:

I love bare shoulders, and this piece shows off a lot of them even though it´s like a t-shirt. So very perfect.
Earrings are Iosselliani, rings by Cornelia Webb and Laura Lee, along with vintage pumps. The later deserve a post on their own, so special and utterly beautiful detailing on the heel. Stay tuned.

New Nike´s, a good ball game, and 300 blog posts since I started at Nitty Gritty in January 2010! Time sure flies, especially when you´re having fun.
Lots of love this weekend from me and my little girl!

Tiny Nike´s aren´t available at Nitty Gritty at present, but Pre Montreal Racer in grey and yellow now in store!
Skirt by Isabel Marant (it´s from the current season but already sold out), older top by Isabel Marant Etoile, mini handbag by Jerome Dreyfuss (in store now), long chain earrings by Line&Jo and shades by Hyde´s Spectacles (the two later also in store now).

Neon brights lights up my life this spring. Could not resist new lace undies from Roseanna, a perfect match with the pullover with neon silk insert by 1-10 Sharon Wauchob. YUM! In store now, and so is the skirtpant by Helmut Lang - another favourite of mine this season.

An eagerly awaited spring / summer arrival at Nitty Gritty from Swedish designer Karin Malm; a light grey asymmetric and draped dress with rubberbands, including black tube dress to wear underneath. J´adore!

I´m a rubberband grit girl... Let´s celebrate this with some Yello!
Have a lovely Sunday, y´all.

And speaking of streetstyle, I got this pic posted on my Facebook profile recently:

One of my friends in Paris found it in Be Magazine at her workplace. They liked my Vivienne Westwood coat, red vintage booties and green python Jerome Dreyfuss mini bag qouting the look as "un sans-faute". I wish I knew more French, but I was told it was a good thing, ha ha ha.

I´m a sucker for textures. On pillows, blankets, curtains, clothes, shoes and even plants and art work - you name it, I dig it. Today, I got my fair share from a loosely knitted Helmut Lang sweater and a pair of woven leather shoes by Jil Sander Navy (both in store now).

Some textured parts of my home:

A carved wood painting

My favourite blanket

Bubbly pillow

A beautiful hanging plant in our bedroom

Like a lava landscape painting

An oil painting with very generous strokes
And don´t even get me started on shadow play...

But speaking of, (I can´t help myself, he he) when I co-owned and ran Le Shop Stockholm some years ago, we had such beautiful dresses in store by designer Sarah Törnqvist. There´s one in particular I have in mind that had a print of shadows from window blinds. I think this style is nothing but amazing even now, five years later.
Here, some stills from her collection film Gap, directed by Igor Zimmermann (2007):

And the dress, photo by Marcus Palmqvist:

Love.
Over and out, good night!

These are some seriously comfortable pants! For them relaxed days.

I got them right away when they arrived in store, and yes, you might see who styled this outfit in our webshop too, ha ha. I can´t wait for some warmer weather so I can team them with those Jil Sander wedge platforms from last season...

The pullover is already sold out but the pants are still available - Isabel Marant Etoile for y´all!

This was yesterday morning, a beautiful and sunny yet ice cold start of the day.

I was wearing a swiss cap by Anthony Peto (sold out, same style in different fabric will come back for next autumn / winter season), checked coat by Vivienne Westwood, leopard print mittens, jeans by The Local Firm, silk shirt by AVHASHBY (in store now), knitted tunic and large wool scarf by Sharon Wauchob, platform wedges by Jil Sander and briefcase by BOYY (the later also in store now).

Monday, monday, mayday! April weather has me fooled again, just like last year. Like every year. I want it to be spring by now, but the temperature is struggling to stay just over zero degrees Celcius. Bummer. I was so into wearing a lighter ensemble today, brought my Dries van Noten pumps to work and all...
Original thought:

But it´s just too cold. The sheer shirt doesn´t do much for me heat-wise, so I had to give up and change back to what I was wearing when getting here (well, imagine a long wool coat, heavy scarf and mittens as well...)
Reality check:

Trousers and dotted silk shirt by AVHASHBY (in store now), knitted sweater by Isabel Marant Etoile, bra by Helmut Lang (also in store now), vintage bangles, earrings by Line&Jo and brogues by Church´s (the two later in store now as well).
