Folks, our winter sale is now so on!

I did some sale shopping myself on Monday, and wore it yesterday. This long, light grey dress by Rodebjer is absolutely beautiful, but I did cut off the lining to make it more sheer, I was too heavy for my liking before. But now, perfection! Sorry I can´t say the same of my face, it´s just one of those days it had to be cut off too, ha ha.

Venus dress by Rodebjer (it even has pockets!), black leather and red python belt by Borba Margo, red earrings of my own design, vintage bangles, vintage heels.

This week has been amazing, busy busy but oh so rewarding! I couldn´t even find a spare moment to update the blog... The best part is that we´ve gotten so much nice feedback on our new women´s store from almost every single customer. Keep it coming... We can never get enough of that, ha ha!
And I can´t express enough THANK YOUs for shopping with us, we value your business immensely and we look forward to continue to serve you in style; what´s left of this year and not the least in the new year 2012!
A very Merry X-mas from all of us, to all of you.

Molami headphones continue with their launch crusade around the world. They´ve now been in both New York and Paris, and it was again quite the turnout and a nice crowd. At Fivestory´s pop-up shop in New York for example, Giovanna Battaglia of Vogue was there to see and hear the magic up close, and Molami is now also available at Colette in Paris.
Here are some photos from the New York event, feat. Maria von Euler herself (the Brand Manager and Designer of Molami) showing how it´s done. Wish I could have been there too, having the great Sweden launch event right here at Nitty Gritty in fresh memory... It was so much fun and the headphones are beyond cool!

And grit girls, don´t forget to tell Santa what you want for x-mas.
And Santa will be jealous of the sound. He he.

These beauties just arrived to the store yesterday, the Jerome Dreyfuss yummy MOMO mini handbag in burgundy python and the superb mini-TWEE in black dito. Jerome Dreyfuss sure knows how to make amazing looking bags. Wonder if he gets any advice from wifey (Isabel Marant, that is)?
Took snapshots of them both yesterday and today, and let me just say that both styles go very well with what I was wearing. Long skirt / dress by Dagmar, silk vest by Heimstone, asymmetric jumper from Helmut Lang and Church´s brogue boots, as well as with knitted holes skirt and zip tunic by 1-10 Sharon Wauchob, and boots by Jil Sander.

Eye candy, look:

Illustrated gift boxes with scented candles, matches and mini perfumes, yum. And not to mention their giant tea inspired indulgence candles, the Earl Grey one is beyond words. All just arrived to the store today, yay!

Filson of Seattle has been in business for over one hundred years, well known for their honesty and great quality outdoor gear.
Since we just got a big re-stock of their durable bags, we decided to take them out for a walk together with a nice new outfit from Post O’alls.

There are few outerwear styles with as much history as the Reefer, more commonly known as Pea Coat. Originally worn by sailors of the American and European navies, references of the garment appears in American newspapers dating back to the 1720s. Anyways, what would history of a garment be worth without good looks? A proper pea coat does not only keep you warm during winter time, it also makes you look the dog's bollocks.
This heavy weight wool Reefer from Gloverall has all the right details including large anchor buttons, Melton wool fabric woven by Moon, Corduroy lined side pockets and a nice updated fit.
The hunt for the perfect Pea Coat has finally come to an end.

On Friday night, Jane Birkin sang Serge Gainsbourg for me (and another bunch of lucky people) at the Filadelfia church in Stockholm. She´s still one of the most beautiful women in the world, her smile warms my heart and that lovely voice of hers, accompanied by her Japanese orchestra... I am so very happy we managed to get tickets to this intimate concert.
Here, some snapshots:

She was so cool wearing a long sleeved plain top with a round, wide collar and masculine cut black pants and flat shoes. If you fancy the look, I´d recommend you go for a taupe top by AVHASHBY in the exact same style, a pair of black trousers byDagmar and Church´s shoes, all available in store and in our webshop.

All of you whom are already familiar with the Woolrich ”Made-In-USA” line Woolen Mills probably know by now that this AW11 collection has been made by a new designer. Replacing mr Daiki Suzuki, one of the most priced designers of our days who designed Woolen Mills since the birth of the line in 2005, wouldn’t seem like an easy job.
Enter, mr Mark McNairy.

Mark, who is a former creative director for J. Press and also run his own line of Northamton made shoes, Red Brick Sole and the clothing line New Amsterdam, has always been inspired by Military clothing, classic American Sportswear and Ivy League style, while the work of Daiki is all about american outdoor history. Mountain Parkas, Fishing Vests and Hunting flannel shirts was key pieces in every Woolen Mills collection and the style was always very retro inspired with a washed and wrinkled feel. So, in order for Mark to take over the job he didn’t just add something new, he totally flipped the coin.
The A/W11 collection from Woolrich Woolen Mills is crispy american clothing history with a twist. Heavy fleece sweat pants, checkered flannels, chambray shirts, a reversible car coat with herringbone tweed on one side and water repellent cotton on the other are just a few examples of the great products available and together with Daiki, Mark has also made a special edition of the classic arctic parka from Woolrich called "the 4 hand parka". We hope you like this collection as much as we do.

Ok, so I am aware of the fact that it´s good for the feet and the shoes not to be wearing the same ones every day... But I just can´t help myself. Dark green flat boots by Jil Sander just arrived earlier this week and I don´t want to wear a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g else! On my fourth day straight now...
Here are some snapshots of the boots in question (me included) and images from the store, feat. our house dog Gustav too. Enjoy!

Plum-coloured hat by Anthony Peto and ankle boots by Chloé

Karin Malm black silk coat and striped silk dress, Jil Sander pointy flats and next to it hangs a gorgeous two-coloured dress by Anne Valerie Hash

And Church´s for the ladies... Yum.

These are the wedges that make all other wedges feel ashamed of themselves, he he. Killers straight from the Jil Sander catwalk!

1-10 Sharon Wauchob knitted tunic and striped turtleneck dress

THE boots. Gosh, they know how to make footwear, the folks over at Jil Sander. These glossy pumps below sure are perfection, too!

I´m also wearing knitted tunic and knitted pencil skirt with holes by 1-10 Sharon Wauchob, vintage bangles, and earrings of my own design.
Now it´s time for blueberry pie! Have a good Friday night y´all.
