Staircase of Hotel Caron in Le Marais in Paris (where we stayed), and nice wheels just outside.

Last day in Paris was indeed a wonderful one. We had a meeting at the magnificent showroom / headquarters of Anne Valerie Hash and had the pleasure to also meeting her in person. So sweet!

I was wearing her dotted silk shirt from the AVHASHBY line (in store now), trench coat as jacket by Helmut Lang, jeans by The Local Firm and Gatcombe brogue boots by Church´s (also in store now).
And we were so lucky to get a cute, patterned AVHASHBY-scarf each as gifts, which was quite the treat since I had left all my scarves at home in Stockholm (due to the weather forecast predicting nice weather in Paris, #FAIL). I was freezing to death all the time, so this was the best gift ever! We both put it on right away.

Maria was wearing jacket by Isabel Marant Etoile, sunglasses by Karen Walker, sweater from Isabel Marant main line and striped pants by A.P.C. (both in store now) and brogues by Church´s (also in store now).
When we finished all our appointments, we took a walk to the cemetary Pere Lachaise. It is huge, like a small village of it´s own. Malcolm McLaren (1946-2010, R.I.P.) even has a song named after it, and since it happens to be on one of my favourite albums, I thought it was about time I´d go there.

Pere Lachaise is the final resting place for both Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison among one million others, but we didn´t have time to stay long enough to locate them. Next time.
Cemetaries used to send shivers down my spine, but these days I just find them utterly peaceful. At least during day time. I must admit I wouldn´t visit it alone, at night, if you´re even allowed to? Not afraid of ghosts, but I think it´s a wise idea to avoid the freaky people I might find there in the dark, ha ha.

I was out jogging in Paris a couple of mornings, too (see previous post, last pic). And the very last day of our week-long stay in Paris was all sunshine.
Finally.
That morning run was pure magic!!

I think we need to open Nitty Gritty in Paris, and I need to be stationed there along with it, ha ha ha.
Another superb part of my running sessions are the headphones by Molami, I´m one of those who never bothered to use headphones before - they either fell out of the ear or looked like something from outer space. That is no longer an issue, they´re nothing but amazing! I have both the earphones (Bight, in black stingray) and these ones, Pleat, in black leather and suede.

Yesterday, we stayed right here in Le Marais placing orders for both Chloé and Jil Sander shoes, as well as Isabel Marant main line and show collection. It´s been intense, but oh-so-great! The collections are huge, and then we hand pick our favourite pieces for the store.
And even though I really like autumn/winter collections, I´m so incredibly happy to have a spring and summer season to look forward to before these new goodies are delivered to us. I still haven´t had the chance to use my sunnies during the trip, what´s up with that? It´s grey and freezing here, and raining on and off. Sun has been shining at home ever since we left. Sigh.
(If you wonder why I´m so obsessed with the sun, it´s because we live in nearly constant darkness in the Northern Hemisphere all winter. I´m so in need of light now. And on the weather forecast for Paris, it said 15 degrees and sunshine, so I did not pack to stay warm at all... #FAIL.)
Ah, note to self: get over it! Less talk more action, yesterday´s outfits are hereby served:

Maria in wide, full skirt and cotton luxe henley by Isabel Marant (both in store now), wedge platforms by Jil Sander. Close-up on the skirt (and a gorgeous set of legs) here:

I was wearing a Vivienne Westwood coat, vintage checked soft blazer, t-shirt by The Local Firm, trousers by AVHASHBY (in store now), socks by Falke, brogues by Church´s (also in store now) and purple leather computer bag by 12.72.

Strike a pose!
And this is what things looked like today:

Maria wearing her slouchy drawstring pants and irregular silk knit sweater by Helmut Lang (both is store now), Marni coat, Jerome Dreyfuss handbag (in stock in black and leopard) and platform wedges by Jil Sander.

The view from one of the showrooms...

I was wearing a short coat by Vanessa Bruno, leather gloves by TNC Studio, vintage bangles and pumps, earrings of my own design, trousers by AVHASHBY (in store now), and silk top by Anne Valerie Hash.

During our last stay in Paris, we found the most amazing breakfast café, Claus (close to The Louvre). We just had to come back for more. While searching for a map on the internet to refresh our memory, we learned many folks out there now share our great opinion on this (still fairly new) place, describing it as breakfast haute couture. Spot on!

Eat in (upstairs) or take away. Their bio-yoghurt and müesli is to die for, their croissants perfectly buttery and crisp, the scones with raisins so incredibly tasty and the omelette with cheese and ham, oh goodness... You MUST come here if you´re a breakfast person. It´s just the best!

And here´s the address, at no. 14:

Enjoy!

Maria, Hugo and Erik walking the streets of Paris yesterday:

Nitty crew was all smiles at the food hall in Le Bon Marché, delicacies all around us:

And me and Maria outside A.P.C.´s showroom:

It was a good day, lots of laughter, fantastic food and great orders for the store for next autumn/winter season.
We went to Chez Paul for dinner, that´s without a doubt one of Paris best restaurants and one that we always visit at least once every time we stay in Paris. And when there, you MUST have their Foie Gras. It´s magic. (And a very large portion, two can share this starter, just a tip!)

And just opposite, there´s an Isabel Marant store, nice view from our dinner table.

And my very own outfit view from the same spot:

I was wearing a dotted silk shirt by AVHASHBY (in store now), mustard knit sweater by Isabel Marant Etoile, vintage jewelry and an Ioselliani ring (the later in store now), skinny pants by The Local Firm and platform wedges by Jil Sander. During the day, I wore all the same but with very wide silk trousers and heels, both by Sharon Wauchob.
Maria reprized her cute Jil Sander Navy skirt from the other day (it´s in store now), Church´s Burwood brogue shoes (also in store now), Marni coat and Jerome Dreyfuss handbag (in stock in black and leopard), but this time with a striped A.P.C.-pullover instead.

Paris life is beautiful even though it´s still cold, grey and a bit rainy. Well, one can´t have it all.
Yesterdays outfits here:

Pullover by Helmut Lang (in store now), t-shirt by The Local Firm, chain earrings by Line&Jo (also in store now), vintage bangles, trousers by AVHASHBY and brown brogues by Church´s (both also in store now and the pants are quickly becoming my new fav´s!).
The sweater up close, the net knit is so nice:

And this is what we get when looking out the window of our hotel room:

Almost every little nook, every angle, of this city is so beautiful...
We had dinner at Hotel Amour, again with jewelry designer Cornelia Webb and her sister, and later on in the night we were joined by our menswear buyers Hugo and Erik who also flew in for a couple of days of buying appointments.
Cornelia was sporting an all orange ensemble with copper bangles and necklace of her own design, and a dress by Dagmar:

I was wearing a Helmut Lang overlapped shirt and bra (both in store now), ring by Iosselliani and chain earrings by Line&Jo (also in store now), jeans by The Local Firm, suede clutch bag by Hanna Hammarberg and platform wedges by Jil Sander.

We had so much fun!
(And for this, I sure suffer today. Say hello to the hang over from hell.)

Dinner at Café des Musées in Le Marais last night! Good French bistro cuisine in a classic café setting + basement. And lots to talk about!
Hear no evil...

See no evil...

The city of love...

...and as you know by now, amazing staircases (at least in my opinion). This impressive one is found at Palais de La Bourse, current home of fashion tradeshow Tranoi.

Today, I´m wearing the striped silk slip dress by Karin Malm that I love so much (in store now), top by Uniqlo, belt by Borba Margo, suede clutch bag by Hanna Hammarberg, jeans by The Local Firm, vintage jewelry and fine hammered ring by Laura Lee, and Gatcombe brogue boots by Church´s (the two later also in store now).

And here comes a better picture, I just liked the shades of light coming down from a window in the first one...

Maria is wearing irregular knit silk sweater by Helmut Lang (in store now), coat by Marni, jeans Thorn by Skargorn (in store now), Carlos handbag by Jerome Dreyfuss (in stock in black and leopard) and shoes from Steve Madden.

Now, we´re off to dinner with jewelry designer Cornelia Webb and her little sis, yesterday we dined with the lovely ladies from House of Dagmar at Hotel du Nord. Girls nights out, yay!

First day in Paris was a great but grey one. Darn. I did bring my sunnies from Hyde´s Spectacles and I´m hoping to get to use them soon! This city in early spring sunlight... Yum.
Oh well, good things come to those who wait, right? And I´m gonna share what we´re wearing during our days here in Paris, it haven´t been much outfits at all in the blog lately. But now, prepare for overload, he he.

Maria in wide skirt by Jil Sander Navy (in store now), thin sweatshirt by A.P.C. (in store now), coat by Marni, Carlos handbag by Jerome Dreyfuss (in stock in black and leopard), tights by Falke and brogues by Church´s (both in store now).
A dear reunion, this staircase and me. It´s so beautiful.

Me wearing trousers by AVHASHBY (in store now), white silk tank with hand dyed detail by Karin Malm (in store very soon!), MOMO mini handbag by Jerome Dreyfuss -it´s there even though it doesn´t show on pic (and in store in black, army green leopard, burgundy and burgundy python), vintage frayed blazer, vintage bangles, vintage pumps and chain earrings by Line&Jo (in store now).
