The quote belongs to Swedish skater Pontus Alv. Alv is answerable for a minor skateboard revolution in Sweden over the last decade. Born and raised in the south of Sweden where he has built a skate community in his hometown Malmö. He’s still motivated to build spots, not just for himself, but also for everyone that loves skateboarding. Now he has been putting a lot of effort into his own board and clothing company. Nitty Gritty proudly present the latest addition to our brand mix; Polar Skate Co.

Hopefully no one has missed our guests in the Nitty Gritty Showroom behind our menswear store. The highly appreciated and beautiful pink coloured El Taco Truck of Stockholm has opened their pop-up Taqueria and will serve Mexican Tacos made with love and the right spices. One who is always very inspired by the native Americana is Hiroki Nakamura - the creative force behind Visvim.
