Ok, so back to early October and Paris Fashion Week. We always get to see so many striking and glamourous looks from the street blogs, but hey, we´re there for buying appointments from early morning to late night and it demands certain comfort. Flat shoes during the days are almost a must for 10 hour working sessions and plenty of walks through this magical city.

Here´s one working girl-friendly outfit, wearing vintage YSL jacket, The Local Firm tee, rings by Iosselliani and Yukie Deuxpoints (both in store now), patterned pants by Sophie1234567+ (new brand at Nitty Gritty, in store shortly!), Gatcombe brogue boots by Church´s and briefcase by BOYY (the two later also in store now).
The gorgeous and fantastically cut pants deserve a close-up pic... Stunners, no? And in silk! They´re nothing but phenomenal in my opinion.

The above photos were taken just after our meeting with these lovely fellas, the very talented duo Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding of Palmer//Harding:

Their spring/summer collection 2013 was almost surreal, the shapes and the quality... We´re so impressed, to say the least.
Another impressive sight was the gigantic display windows at the Louis Vuitton store on Champs-Élysées, in collaboration with the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.

And not far from there, menswear buyer Erik and Hugo treated themselves to some great kicks from the Kenzo-Vans colab. Shoppers alert!

Not much of the nightlife in Paris got caught on camera this time around, but this is the beautiful ceiling of legendary restaurant Maxim´s, where we went for a party feat. molded brass breasts by jewelry designer Cornelia Webb, herself wearing them...

And this next picture just says it all. The Nitty Gritty crew the morning after the day before, waiting in a hotel lobby for an appointment with Oliver Peoples. Happy campers, ha ha ha!

The next day, it was time to head back home and after several days of sunshine, Paris started crying... We won´t see each other again until January. Kisses and misses.
xx
