LONDON CALLING, part 1.

I headed to London a couple of weeks ago, not for buying this time around, but for inspiration de luxe, just hanging around town (topped off with a couple of last minute business meetings thrown in there for good measure).
Unfortunately, Sweden suffered a massive snowstorm on the day of my departure, so my flight was cancelled and the trip shortened a bit, but luckily I was at least able to get another flight the day after.

Here´s the first bunch of snapshots from two crammed (but oh-so-great) days:

As always, I felt right at home at Liberty´s which must be my favourite department store in the whole wide world; the interior and all the fantastic stuff on offer, impeccable! And just how awesome with a small palm tree lamp in brass in one of the lounge areas?! (I have a giant one at home myself, he he. Great minds and all that...).

And gorgeous foldable walls made from paneled doors... Yum.

I stayed at a small boutique hotel in Kensington, close to everything and on the Piccadilly line to get to Heathrow airport by tube, very convenient.
