New York City based Moscot is a not just an eyewear company but also a lifestyle choice. The brand has been around The Big Apple for almost 100 years and is well-known worldwide for its legendary eyewear and worn by esteemed celebrities such as Andy Warhol, John Lennon and Johnny Depp.
Their history started out when great grandfather and family patriarch, Hyman Moscot, arrived by boat to America via Ellis Island in 1899. Hyman soon found his way around his newfound country and started making a living by selling ready-made eyeglasses from a pushcart along Manhattan’s famed Lower East Side. And, as they say, the rest is history!
