Turning Japanese..?
No, we are not asking you to make a “masturbation face” which The Vapors song from 1980 is speculated to be all about. We just want you to be as stylish as possible in very advanced and technical clothes designed and produced by two of the finest Japanese brands that act on the market today. We have had our eyes on Visvim for a couple of years and were of course honoured when they came to us and asked if Nitty Gritty would consider to sell their very fine footwear and clothing..

Last season we introduced Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi´s lovely diffusion line “Preen Line” to all the Stockholm fashionista´s. This season we have added a few pieces from their main line Preen. Thornton and Bregazzi are both originated from The Isle of Man where they first met at the age of 18. They still keep their tiny atelier/boutique tucked away in a small arcade on Portobello road in London’s contemporary Notting Hill. Here you might run into Kate Moss, Chloe Sevigny or Amy Winehouse whilst picking up their latest Preen dresses….or you can skip London altogether and pick up your own Preen dress directly at Krukmakargatan.

How are you?
We hope you are enjoying the summer. We sure are even though it´s been hard work the last couple of weeks since we really wanted to get our new combined communication site/online store ready in time for when all the new autumn goodies are getting delivered to Nitty Gritty and nittygrittystore.com.
We are also proud to present the new “Nitty News”, from now on it´s going to be presented in English. There are also a few other “news” that you´ll find if you visit nittygrittystore.com. The new Nitty Gritty blog, where we will share our every day life with you is there. That´s where you´ll find the things that inspire us and get us out of bed in the mornings. You´ll also find the highly appreciated blog “Fashion affair” where you can follow our womens wear buyer, Cecilia Steiner, in her struggle of sharing time between new born baby girl Maxine and what shoes to wear with what at what event or party…
