This week we have done our very best to spread the spring joy in the Nitty Gritty Stores.
With some, hopefully, inspiring new outfits shown on the mannequins, only new arrivals on the racks and shelves and shining smiles on all of us in the staff…
The Celsius mark outside still only show a few degrees above zero, but still above, which makes it the perfect spring weather for some proper layers dressing with a technical touch.
Take a nice quick spring hike up to Krukmakargatan this weekend or go directly to nittygrittystore.com for the latest updated new spring arrivals.
Ok, so we are in our mid thirties something. The discussion has come up a few times during the past weeks whether it's a good age to wear camouflage or not. As a fashion piece that is. It's impossible not to notice that there is a big camo trend going on in different variables for the moment. Not only in the so called “Streetwear scene” (whats included in that scene is another subject worth talking about but that will be another time in another Nitty News…) but also in everything from tailored shirts, ties, shoes, linings etc. When even a traditional shoe brand like Church's, (although owned by the Prada Group these days) is making Dainite soles in camouflage then we can assume that it soon will be pretty tough not be part of this wheter you like it or not.
Here, as promised in the newsletter last week, is a summary of this weekends buying trip to Milano. (The Copenhagen part of the trip will be blogged about shortly …) We just got back right in time to find that some of the finest Italian tailoring there is, just landed in the Nitty Gritty stockroom together with the second Woolrich Woolen Mills collection with Mr Marc McNairy behind the wheel.
