During the last weekend of July every summer since 1999 the annual Fuji Rock Festival is held in the Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. The first event was held already in 1997, at the base of Mount Fuji, and when the festival moved to Naeba two years later the name stayed although the location changed.

Held up in the Japanese mountains it must be one of the most beautiful festivals in the world. We'd love to go.
