Brand: Penhaligon's

Penhaligon's is an English perfume house. It was founded in the late 1860s by William Henry Penhaligon, a barber from Cornwall. Corwall is a unitary authority and ceremonial county of England, within the United Kingdom. It is bordered to the north and west by the Celtic Sea to the south by the English Channel. Henry later left his Cornish roots and moved to London where he became Court Barber and Perfumer to Queen Victoria.
The original shop was situated in Jermyn Street next to the street's Hammam. Both buildings however were destroyed in The Blitz in 1941. The new Penhaligon's shop opened its doors in 1975 in Covent Garden and by the fashion designer Sheila Pickles, with the help of the Italian film director Franco Zeffirelli. Pickles carried on the tradition and production of formulas left by William Penhaligon himself but also introduced a range of traditional floral scents for women. Most famous scent must be their unique and distinctive Bluebell, which to this day still is one of their bestseller.
