Brand: Red Wing

When the Red Wing Shoe Company first started making boots, people still rode horses to work. The year was 1905 and a single man by the name of Charles H. Beckman established the Red Wing Shoe Company. It was situated along a river town in Minnesota by the name of Red Wing. The first pair of Red Wings sold for $1.75.
By 1907 the production is up to 100 pairs per day. Due to Charles Beckman’s lack of compromise of the company’s four basic principles: Quality, Craftsmanship, Durability and Comfort, it earned the company prosperity and success over the years to come.

Today the boots can be found in select stores around the world and it is all down to the use of the same craftsmanship and attention to the details that made it possible. The Red Wing Heritage Collection is a tribute to the Red Wing’s work boot legacy, heavy weight, high quality leather, the signature triple-stitch sewing pattern and proper welt construction are all part of the Red Wing work boot elements. Together they create a sense of timeless perfection.
