When Nick Kamen removed his jeans in the Levi’s ‘launderette’ advert it was to reveal Sunspel boxer shorts. This very fine English company has been spending the last 150 years developing the finest underwear and t-shirts that you can ever imagine.
Started up in 1860 in Nottingham the company among many other things introduced the boxer short in 1947 to the Brits. An independent attitude, classic style, an uncompromising tradition of excellence rooted in craft skills handed down the generations – the result is clothing that feels deeply luxurious yet has an understated elegance and sophistication. We believe that you among other Sunspel ambassadors such as Batman (Christian Bale in Batman - The Dark Knight) and James Bond (numerous films during the years, among others, Daniel Craig in Casino Royal wears a classic Sunspel polo) are enjoying the comfort in a perfectly cut pair of boxers or an under tee.
