Description

Shannon from Church's, a stout derby plain fronted lace up shoe in polished binder leather.

Made on the 103 last giving a generous rounded toe shape and constructed on a triple thick leather sole with a storm welt. The shoe also boosts a Bellows Tongue. Heel height approximately 20 mm.

Church´s shoes run big in the sizing, so we suggest you order at least half a size smaller than you usually wear.

Dating back all the way to the year 1675, the Church´s family in England have been experienced in the craft of making men´s shoes. Still today, the men´s production of the shoes are made by hand in their Northampton headquarters. The area has been the centre of a flourishing leather and footwear industry since the Middle Ages.

Their women´s collections are brand new in comparison, but they are very much alike the men´s shoes but with a neater shape. The women´s shoes are however produced in another country famous for their exquisite leather goods and crafts - Italy.

You will treasure a pair of Church´s shoes and they´ll last for many, many years if you care for them right. It´s a quality investment.

About the brand

Church’s was founded in 1873 by Thomas Church and his three sons Alfred, William and Thomas Jr. Church’s is a shoe manufacturer based in Northampton, not far from London, in a county which has been the centre of a leather and footwear industry since the Middle Ages. In the space of a few years, Church’s went from a backyard workshop into a respectable company for high-quality footwear throughout the British Isles. It still takes up to eight weeks to produce a pair of Church’s shoes: each undergoes over 250 detailed manual operations before it leaves the factory in Northampton. All the production is hand-made. So all in all we can say it is an investment for life and with proper care and love they will last a lifetime
